Current Beauty Favorites Vol. 1

There are certain make-up and skincare products that are long-time staples, but others I enjoy rotating in and out of use. Here are a few of my current beauty favorites I've been reaching for lately.

Everyday Oil

This is a great all-over moisturizing oil blend that I've traded in for my heavier body butters and thicker oil concoctions for the summer months. The oil blend includes plant and essential oils like Coconut Oil, Olive Oil, Argan Oil, Jojoba, Castor Oil, Palo Santo, Lavender, Geranium, and Clary Sage. Everyday Oil would be a great for travel since it's pretty multi-purpose and can easily be used as an oil cleanser, facial moisturizer, cuticle softener, or bath oil.

Maya Chia Highlight of the Day Illuminating Serum

During the winter months I had started adding an liquid highlighter to my foundation to add a bit of a glow. But I wanted to replace the product I was using with a clean beauty option when I finished the bottle (I really try not to waste product, just replace when I've finished using).  I rub this highlighting serum into my face and let it sink in for a few seconds before layering on my foundation and though the glow isn't as pronounced as it was with the previous highlighter I was using, I still like it.

Red Dirt Hannah Hair and Facial Oil

This oil was my most recent acquisition from a recent pop-up shop in DC and I've started using it as a night time facial oil. Red Dirt Hannah Hair and Facial Oil is moisturizing and works nicely for my normal (non-sensitive) skin type. I plan to use it as a hot oil treatment sometime soon as well.

Alima Pure Pressed Foundation w/Rosehip Antioxidant Complex

This pressed foundation is great for summer days when you don't want to actually put on a full face of foundation or tinted moisturizer. This pressed fondation is a decent match for my skin tone if I blend very well.
