Here are some products, books and other items I enjoyed using during the month of March.

Cooking Solo Cookbook by Klancy Miller

Whether you are single or not, you will inevitably have a moment where you’re home alone and have to figure out how to feed yourself. This book is great inspiration for those moments. I saw this cookbook author’s book featured in a Cup of Jo blog post and decided to order it. It’s a great mix of recipes that has ingredients you’ll most likely already have on hand or can easily purchase in your local grocery store. I’m looking forward to trying her risotto recipe picture above very soon. This book is a reminder that there is no reason not to elevate a home cooked meal just because you’re eating it alone.

Natty Naturals Hair and Body Butter

I rarely purchase body butters because I always substantiate that I can easily make it myself. But I do really like this Natty Naturals Hair and Body Butter. I’m still not quite ready to switch to my summer moisturizer of choice, Every Day Oil. Until I make the switch, I’ll be using this body butter.

Nemat Egyptian Musk

I get pretty overwhelmed when it comes to choosing fragrances and I get sticker shock because so many of them are so pricey and don’t even last very long. But I purchased this Egyptian Musk from Whole Foods and really like it as an everyday oil that is not overpowering but does last a few hours. It comes in a small enough vial that you can easily put it in your purse for easy application throughout the day. I previously read that Carolyn Bessette Kennedy used to wear Egyptian Musk….if it’s good enough for her, I certainly don’y have a problem wearing it.

The Main Choice Tropical Moringa Daily Restorative Spray

I’m pretty loyal to my Oyin Juices and Berries Leave-In Spray but occasionally, I’ll add another into the rotation, this one is the leave in of the moment. I like the lightly tropical fragrance added moister it offers. Caveat: if you’re highly sensitive to scents, you may dislike this product for the fragrance. I like to add a light spritz to my hair in the morning when I take down twist outs.

Essential Oil Blends

Ajai Radiance Alchemy is a really nice uplifting oil blend that I add to my temples and wrists when I need a pick-up. I’m also enjoying the Aura Caria Peppermint Oil for headaches when I occasionally get them. I just rub this on my temples and forehead whenever I get a headache.
